3D Smartphone by LG Electronics

The LG Electronics company announced smartphone Optimus 3D, working on the basis of mobile OS Android. The novelty has been presented at the Mobile World Congress (Barcelona).

Optimus 3D from LG Electronics

Optimus 3D is equipped with the stereoscopic display with a diagonal of 4,3 inches which allows to view 3D-videoclips on the smart phone screen without special glasses. Switching between usual 2D — and the 3D-dimensional image will happen at pushing of the special button.
Also the smart-phone has the special 3D-camera which is able to create a stereoscopic video. Thus, HDMI 3D video-clips it will be possible to view on the exterior display, including on the 3D-TV.

Besides stereoscopic functions, Optimus 3D receives the Dual Core processor by the Texas Instruments, and also 4Gb of two-channel memory DDR2. The smart-phone will be delivered with 8Gb flash-memory. The smartphone will be delivered with pre-installed version of Windows Mobile 7.
Novelty cost yet is not called. In some countries new Optimus 3D goes on sale in May, 2011.

HTC will present 6 new smartphones

HTC Company will make six new models of smartphones till the end of a year, writes Digitimes by referring to Chinese newspaper of Commercial Times.

HTC Vision & Mondrain

According to the newspaper, two smartphones: HTC Vision (on the basis of mobile OS Android) and Mondrain (on the basis of Windows Phone 7) — will be presented in Europe. Is expected, that Vision will work on the basis of processor Android 3.0, will appear in the mobile market in October. Starts of Mondrain is planned on the fourth quarter 2010.

HTC Vanguard & Emerald

In the American mobile market four models will be presented. Two of them will work under control of WP7, two under Android. At present names of smartphones on the basis of Android are known only — Vanguard and Emerald. At the same time, earlier it was informed that one of smartphones HTC (Windows Phone 7) will be named the Schubert or Scorpion.

Microsoft will show new mobile phones on April, 12th

Microsoft Corp. in San Francisco will show on April, 12th phones known under code names: Pure and Turtle, writes Cnet news referring to an anonymous source. Officially Microsoft on a theme of action informed nothing.

Touch & Keyboard

Both phones will be equipped by the touch screen and the usual keyboard. They will work under control of Windows Mobile, instead of new OS Windows Phone 7. Phones working with Windows Phone 7, will appear only by the end of year.

Time to share!

Action is initiated by the slogan "It's time to share". Is supposed — Pure and Turtle will be intended for dialogue in social networks and distributions of the liked content.

Pure and Turtle are a project part under conditional name of Pink. Devices will go on sale in the USA in May and will work in a network of operator Verizon Wireless. Their cost is not informed.
