The armed criminals have plundered Grand casino in Basel. As reports AP, approximately in 4 AM robbers on 2 cars have parked near a casino, have cracked doors, have rushed into a game hall of casino, have forced visitors and personnel to lay down on a floor, have taken away money from cash desks and have disappeared.

Without victims

Robbers have been armed by pistols and automatic guns. In a casino some heard gun shots, however bullets have touched nobody. Most likely, criminals have opened fire, when unsuccessfully tried to crack the safe.



According to police, robbers have carried away some hundreds thousand Swiss francs. The exact sum of the stolen is not specified. Robbers have disappeared on two "Audi" with the French licence plates. According to AFP, criminals have gone to France. Casino Grand in Basel is located approximately in 200 metres from the French border.

Chabinski has declared, that cyber gangs start to remind on the structure criminal syndicates — easier speaking, a mafia. He also has noticed, that struggle against crimes in sphere of high technologies has turned to the major problem which faces to FBI, informs eSecurity Planet.

As experts of FBI have concluded, the list from 10 key specialities in the world of computer criminality is opened by the programmers developing harmful program decisions. Behind them there are dealers the stolen information and technical IT-experts.

At the head of a pyramid there are financiers, whose functions are reduced to the control over receipt of means, their moving from one account on another and to washing up of criminal incomes. And at pyramid top leaders of criminal groupings who are engaged in acquisition of gangs and definition of the purposes settle down.

Round-the-clock cyber gangsters

FBI notices, that modern cyber gangs differ readiness to work everywhere and "without days off". Chabinski recognised, that malefactors can already start planning of criminal acts in some hours after vulnerability revealing.

FBI staff on struggle against crimes in sphere of computer technologies totals more than thousand employees in territory of the USA. The bureau actively co-operates with corresponding bodies of other states and has already directed to 60 countries of the representatives for struggle against the international cyber criminality.

In Berlin have plundered poker players

Participants of a poker tournament became victims of the armed robbery, informs DW-WORLD.

Robbers, whose physiognomies have been closed by masks, on Saturday, on March, 6th, approximately at 14:15 on local time have made armed attack on hotel Grand Hyatt. Occurrence in a hall of robbers has caused a panic among players in which result, alarmists have got small traumas.

Having stolen a part of prize-winning fund of tournament, criminals have disappeared. How many money has been stolen, representatives of the Berlin police yet do not specify. However, according to German newspaper BZ, robbers have taken hold of 800,000 euro. The newspaper also informs, that six malefactors have been armed by machine guns, knifes and an explosive.

German tennis star Boris Becker too loves poker

In five-day poker tournament in Grand Hyatt with prize-winning fund in 4,725 million euro which should come to the end in the morning on Sunday, on March, 7th, in total took part about 400 players. Among participants there was known tennis player Boris Becker, however by the robbery moment the tennis star was absent in hotel.

Sincerely I sympathise with organizers of tournament and I hope, that the police will catch robbers.
